Summary:

Social networking a form of socialising and communicating online with friend’s family, colleagues ECT.
Participation in social networking sites has dramatically increased over the last 10 years. Services such
as Friendster, Tribe, or the Face book allow millions of individuals to create online profiles and share
personal information with vast networks of friends and, often, unknown members. It can be a very
dangerous way of communicating if the proper. If users apply personal information to your profile it can
be easily accessed and used for fraud, identity theft and crime.
There are also positive aspects to social
networking. It is an easy way to communicate within your work place, home and school. It can be used to
convey information to one or more people via comments, bulletins, notes and messages. Social networking
can be done in many different ways, through typing/language, photo comments, business conferences,
common interests, dating, face-to-face and web cams. Social networking is to be taken seriously and should
be used appropriately.
